Publisher’s Blurb
As Eastwood adopts the Longcoat mantle, he learns of parallel worlds, the 2012 threat, and the mission of their mysterious benefactors, the enigmatic Cassandra Foundation – an organization that has always existed on Earth, in all of its Ages. As strange dreams prowl Eastwood’s nights, monsters fill his days as the membranes between worlds stretch thin and the Longcoats go to work patrolling the quarantine.

Surveillance eventually leads William Hills to the billionaire-turned-boy, whose missing memories are being replaced by glimpses of a life that defies reason, while a strange and ancient power awakens within him in concert with the Cassandran’s discovery that an ancient device exists – the Scepter of Power – with the power to save the world. The only trick is its parts have been scattered through time and space.

When their underground base is invaded by GRID and captives are taken, Hills helps the Longcoats escape to a new command center of unexpected provenance. But GRID General Ari Kriegmacher uses a diabolical method to turn one of his Longcoat prisoners into an agent tasked with destroying the Foundation and recovering the Scepter to satisfy Kriegmacher’s own agenda.

Pursued by sinister agents from several worlds, will the Longcoats be successful in finding the mapcube to the Scepter, or will their efforts be ‘too little, too late’?
