Notes
Nemesis, a novel by Isaac Asimov.

Although Asimov stated that Nemesis was not part of the Foundation universe, the story appears to contain barely disguised references to Spacers, the Galactic Empire and Hari Seldon, and Nemesis is referenced in Forward the Foundation. These details may have been placed for the purpose of integrating the story into the series at a later date.

Publisher’s Blurb – Lower Cover
Tearing its way through space on a collision course for Earth is NEMESIS, a fiery ball of destruction, a dwarf star as red as the colour of blood.

Circling NEMESIS is ROTOR, an Earth colony whose occupants have cut themselves off from the anarchy and degeneration of an old and wasted world.

For them ROTOR is a kind of Ark.

And NEMESIS is the Flood . . .
