SF Universes and Fantasy Worlds

The Tandem Sci-Fi & Science Fantasy series issued between 1970 and 1972 brought together a curious mix of science fiction and heroic fantasy written by a number of American authors including Robert Silverberg and Lin Carter. The illustrations for the Brak the Barbarian books were the first published cover art by Chris Achilleos. The other fantasy covers for the series were supplied by Gerald Wood. Unfortunately it has not been possible to identify the artist for the science fiction cover art.
